Natural Dyed Cotton Fabrics

These fully ethnic fabrics are hand-woven from traditionally handspun cotton yarns, so they are uneven, with slub effect, charming, not unlike linen in appearance

Handspun yarns available in three different counts (which means thickness of yarn) - 33s, 56s and 120s - the latter being a very fine muslin yarn, the other two being more medium yarns.



However, we can arrange natural dyed cotton fabrics in conventionally spun yarns, in any count from 2s up to 140s.

All dyes and mordants used are traditionally derived from natural materials (see plant source guide), from either vegetable, mineral or animal waste.

The pure white and off-white fabrics are bleached with hydrogen peroxide, not chlorine.

All fabrics are handwoven on traditional wooden looms.

Width of fabrics can be arranged between 110 cms. and 137 cms. wide.

For commercial orders, minimum order per color, per count, must be 100 metres upwards + weaving delivery time ETA, + seasonal color availability.
